The new nearby train station in Kiryat Areh and short distance from Geha Highway (road No. 4) has made the neighborhood accessible and popular for families looking to live in the center of Israel near Tel Aviv and still pay reasonable prices for real estate property.

Currently there are 2 schools in the neighborhood (a) Ahud Manor and (b) Naomi Shemer. An Open University branch is also located in the neighborhood .
