Large residential project approved in Herzliya

The Tel Aviv District Planning Commission approved the project and construction for a large residential project in Herzliya, reports the newspaper TheMarker.

According to the plans, the project is targeted on agricultural lands in Kibbutz Galil Yam, covering an area of 700 dunums, situated between the Rue A-Rav Kook and the Ayalon Highway in Herzliya, near the shopping center “Sheva Kohavim”. Current plans include construction of 4,400 housing units.

The project envisages the construction of buildings up 7.9 floors, with a 4-and 5-room apartments of approx. 120-130 square meters.

20% of apartments that are planned to be built in the project would be for the so-called affordable housing.

In addition, the project includes establishment of the park on an area of approximately 210 dunams and cemeteries.
